At Wood Rehab we understand wood and know what can and can't be done to a deck, we also service fences. We NEVER use a sprayer to apply stain!
We use Sherwin-Williams Deckscapes! Some companies will clean your deck with a 3200 psi power washer and not change the psi settings. Cedar and Redwood (expensive woods) are very sensitive species. Power washing over a certain psi setting WILL harm the wood. Wood fibers will peel & tear causing your wood to look like it has bristles like a pipe cleaner (felting). Once this happens the only solution is sanding the entire deck. Wood pores will become compacted. Your wood will not breathe properly and will not allow stain to penetrate deep enough to protect your deck.
